The railed handguard is injection-molded from high-impact ABS polymer and reinforced with black anodized aircraft-grade aluminum side rails. Its ergonomic shape—proper width, rearward angle, and back swell—helps distribute recoil evenly into both hands for greater speed, accuracy, and control. The forend fits long-action slide systems measuring 7-3/4". It includes integrated action bars, making it compatible with both older and current-production Mossberg 500 platforms that do not use a removable metal slide tube or nut. No gunsmithing is required.

The included angled foregrip mounts directly to the MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail, featuring a textured finger-groove design for enhanced weapon control. A built-in storage compartment with a secure trap door provides space for batteries or small cleaning supplies.

Completing the setup, the polymer heat shield fits most smooth 12-gauge barrels, including 18-inch barrels, and helps reduce heat transfer during prolonged use. Constructed from durable black polymer, it is vented for heat dissipation, will not scratch the barrel, will not rust, and will not melt under normal operating conditions.
