Excellent Fit, Quality, and Appearance
I’m very pleased with this heat shield for my Mossberg Maverick 88. The fit is excellent, and once installed, it looks like it belongs on the shotgun rather than being an aftermarket add-on. The vented design gives the barrel a clean, rugged appearance, and the polymer construction feels solid and well made.
Installation was straightforward, and the shield fits securely without feeling loose or flimsy. I especially like how it changes the overall look of the Maverick 88 while providing the added benefit of shielding against incidental contact with a hot barrel.

Didn’t come with install instructions so part of clip broke. Guess that’s what you get for $25.
